Written entry forms for art to be shown in the November “”Soul of the South”" art show are due to Connie Cation no later than October 22nd – no last minute entries! The guild will meet 6:30PM October 30th at the Art Center to hang art for the November 3rd show.

This sculpture was inspired by my husband and all his old junk he saves. He calls them his treasures. I also put an old Chevy truck under the old junk shed. Everything on this sculpture is made of earthenware clay and fired in a kiln.

The William Harris Homestead is in Monroe,Georgia. I was commissioned to do this replicia by Sherry Huff of Broxton,Georgia for her husband’s birthday present. He was raised in this house. It is a log cabin that has shed rooms built on the front and back porches. Notice the door to the cellar next to the fireplace.
